Our Vision

Today's consumer wants to create the outdoor great room by transitioning indoor styles for outside use. They want thick, comfortable cushioning, chairs with motion (swivel, rock, glide), and they want a complete collections, including dining, seating and occasional tables, where family and friends can gather.

We have now rolled out more contemporary and transitional lines, as well as a new antique weathered look for the cottage industry. The "green" movement has always been a part of our business, since wicker as a raw material is a renewable natural resource.  And the synthetic wicker we use is an environmentally safe, toxic-free, recyclable material.

Younger buyers today are not as accepting of fully traditional looks; yet the majority are not attracted to lines that are too urban, either. We are seeing a growing trend across the board for cleaner lines and for mixed groupings, like a wood-look table with a stone-finish top.

Homeowners are increasingly making use of their outdoor living areas, creating a surging market for furniture that can withstand the outdoor elements – integrating its use into their property to create a “home resort”. And that’s what American Home & Patio want to accomplish…..create a vacation without leaving home.
