American Home & Patio™ is a Wholesaler; accordingly, we can only sell to authorized retailers and designers. What Are the Requirements for Opening New Accounts?

We ask that you fill-out our CREDIT APPLICATION, provide all required information, SIGN IT, and fax it to us at (604) 272-9575 with a copy of your GST# (if applicable), Business Licence, and PST/Resale Certificate.

We will conduct a credit investigation, and notify you of the terms assigned to your account. Our standard terms of sale are NET 30 DAYS, to accounts whose account balances are in good standing. All opening orders are prepayment by credit card (VISA/MasterCard) unless terms are approved in advance.

Is There a Minimum Order Amount?

There are no minimum purchase requirements to place an order with American Home & Patio™. However, there are minimum freight charges per shipment (see shipping charges)

Does American Home & Patio™ Drop Ship?

American Home & Patio™ can drop ship to any address within Canada. Residential orders generally incur an additional $85 delivery fee. Many large and heavy items are delivered by our Standard Truck Delivery service. These items will be shipped by a motor freight carrier and will be unloaded by the driver to the driveway of your home or entryway of your apartment building. Items difficult to move from the truck to your driveway or entryway may require your assistance. A delivery agent will call you to schedule your delivery.

What Are the Normal Shipping Charges?

LTL Shipments (Common Carrier)
Our standard freight rates are based on a % percentage of the invoice value that varies for each city. There is a minimum freight charge per skid that varies depending on the shipping destination.

What Is the Lead-Time to Fulfill My Order?

American Home & Patio™ will normally ship within 10-12 business days. Although we strive to maintain minimum stock levels of our items, we cannot guarantee stock availability in the event of unexpected large volume orders. Please check stock availability and ETA on our Catalog prior to ordering.

Does American Home & Patio™ Offer Volume Quantity discounts?

Customers placing full 40' container orders can receive a 25% discount off the dealer prices, and free freight landed to your door (no additional charges apply). The total savings (after factoring freight & delivery charges) calculates to approx. 40% discount. Please call us at (888) 304-8202 if you have any questions regarding our Container program.

What is the American Home & Patio™ Return Policy?

American Home & Patio™ prides itself in manufacturing its products under stringent controls with durable qualities to ensure customers' satisfaction. All product returns must be approved in writing and are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus freight charges. Return freight costs must be prepaid. Please contact American Home & Patio™ if you are not satisfied with your American Home & Patio™ order.

Can American Home & Patio™ manufacture cushions using C.O.M. (Customer's Own Material)?

Yes, American Home & Patio™ provides the C.O.M. yardage required for each item. Please see the Catalog page for more information.

Does American Home & Patio™ Have a Showroom?

Sorry, American Home & Patio™ does not have a showroom at our distribution warehouse in Richmond, B.C. We showcase our products at various tradeshows across Canada throughout the year, and will soon be exhibiting at the Las Vegas Market.

Can I Place My American Home & Patio™ Furniture Outdoors?

American Home & Patio™ manufactures both indoor and outdoor furniture. Our indoor furniture is manufactured with natural materials and is generally for indoor use only and we do not recommend putting this furniture outside. Our outdoor furniture however is made 100% of synthetic wicker, aluminium framework, and teakwood. All our outdoor furniture is manufactured to the highest standards with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects and fading. We only use reticulated foam and mildew-proof Sunbrella fabrics for all our outdoor cushions.
